Good clumping clay litter

Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced clumping clay litter. Our two kittens are currently using Pets @ home antibac clumping clay litter which is £8.49 for 10 L and we seem to be going through a pack a week. They poo / wee a lot plus within 2 weeks we're having to replace it all as the boxes are starting to smell. There's also a huge amount of tracking

Can anyone recommend a good one we could switch to? Potentially also with the option of it coming in bigger bags.

Do you know what we realised? That horse bedding is exactly the same pellets as cat litter.

So we started buying massive sacks of that. Works very well.

I read that clay litter isn't good as cars clean their paws after using it, and it can clump in their intestines. RSPCA advice.

Ooh okay @Soontobe60 I was more just thinking it might confuse them if we switched. Any suggestions on a good alternative to clay that's still clumping?

That's interesting @HennyPennyHorror That'd serve as non clumping though wouldn't it?

Yes...it does serve as non clumping. It's easy to find as well.

We've used the Sainsbury's clumping litter for years (not the ultra-clumping version). It works well, clumps, covers up the cat-toilet smell, and is reasonably priced.

Another vote for Sainsbury's Clumping, the one in the pink bag. It's currently £3.35 for 8 litres, so will save you a bit but obviously doesn't come in a bigger size. It's the most clumpy of all the clumpy litters. We have three trays and get though about two bags a fortnight.
