My clever little cat

Just a boast really about my lovely cat!

This evening I was in the kitchen chatting when big cat ( my Siamese) came running in meowing and starting patting my leg with his paw ( he’s unusually quiet for a Siamese so doesn’t use his voice often) and then running to the bottom of the stairs. He was very insistent so I followed him whereupon he ran straight up to my eldest DS bedroom door and was again meowing and jumping at the handle. When I got there I could hear DS sobbing as he was having a night terror. Anyway opened the door and big cat ran straight in and jumped on the bed. After DS had calmed down he then settled down next to his bed ( big cat is usually always downstairs in the evening he’s not a bedroom cat) and didn’t come down for an hour. He was definitely sitting guard on DS.

He’s just such a lovely, gentle, clever cat - although a bit reserved he always watches over my DSs wherever they are and guards the house. He always has his claws in, has never once scratched and is so gentle. Looks after my other little cat and fetches him when he gets stuck places.

Other cat is much more the kids cat but big cat is my lovely boy.

Wow - he's like a watchdog! He's obviously looking out for your DS bless him!

He is like a guard cat. It’s just me and the boys in the house ( I’m a single mum) and he does guard over us! He even runs into the hall when the bell rings to see who is coming to ‘his’ house Grin

My boys are just like that! They stand off against strangers (Blush) and guard me in shifts if I'm ill - sometimes even DH has to sleep in the spare room which makes me laugh. Yours is protecting his little family. Siamese are pretty smart too.

Aww thats warmed my heart.

My cat is one of them that will go pester all the neighbours for food and just wonder into anyone's house uninvited. One day he came bolting in the house meowing and running outside to get me to follow, then he kept jumping over the neighbours fence and going up to her french doors, all the whole meowing and scratching at the glass. Let myself in after no response at the door and she'd had a hypo and collapsed on the living room floor. He'd got in through an open window and found her, bless him.

Ahh - they are cleverer than people think!

Awww that is just the sweetest little thing!

When we were younger we had a big black fluffy cat and my sister was having a hard time at school as she was dyslexic and whenever she was upset he would sleep with her on her pillow to comfort her.

We never even knew until my mum saw psychic who told her and then checked one night to find him with her Smile

That's so sweet!
