Spot on Question

Just looking for a bit of advice.
At the moment I pay into the vet club which gets me free vaccinations and then a spot on each month (broad line, frontline, frontline is the pattern)
Once Dkitten is Dcat we are planning on stopping the vet club and just paying for yearly boosters. It worked out cheaper for the first year to be a member with vaccinations, spaying plus all the spot ins.

Where would you recommend and what spot on would you recommend for cats jag go outside for fleas and ticks?
We have a pets at home locally or happy look online if it's better?

We've recently swapped from Broadline to Bravecto as it doesn't seem to be working for our DCat any more. It's a spot on that last 3 months, which is another plus (as BiteyCat isn't a fan of spot on treatments) and costs £25 from our vet.

We've just switched from Bravecto to Bravecto Plus as it contains a wormer as well. He's then having Profender every 6-12 months for tape worm.

I wouldn’t use OTC flea or worm treatments. You can buy vet stuff online but you need a vet prescription.

We use Advocat for fleas and ticks and Profender for worms. Both my cats are outdoors and hunt a lot and have had no side effects. We are splitting their booster jabs though as both reacted last year and were a bit under the weather after having them. Might look into doing antibody checks before hand.

@Minkies11 advocate does not cover ticks only fleas, ear mites and roundworms. If you want tick cover you would be better with Bravecto plus.

We use stronghold plus monthly for fleas and ticks and some worms and then profender every 6 months for the rest of the worms
