I’ve gone mad and decided to adopt 2 gorgeous boys, already have 1 cat. The house is going to be so fluffy!

They are 11 months old, so you think it’s too late to change their names?
Also any tips on introducing them to my cat? I don’t want him to feel left out.

Oh my goodness, but they're all utterly beautiful!

They are gorgeous! I have three, never a dull moment! Mine know their names at 10 months old, but I think you could change them if you go for something with a similar sound e.g. change Polly to Nelly.

Yabu and greedy to have 3 gorgeous dcats!!
Have you ever taught your dcat to 'sit'?
My 2 do and it's hilarious!!
A bag of Dreamies and you will have them all sitting happily I would guess!
And eating out of your hand most literally!

One of them is called creme brûlée, I guess I could change it hoolay?!
I just can’t imagine shouting that in the garden Grin

I’m hoping as they are ragdolls they will just get on with each other. Apparently the 2 boys are very close. Do you think they will let my boy in the clique?

They are gorgeous!
Change their names, cats really don't care! They respond more to the way you say it than the actual name - I mean, how many of us call our cats by their actual names all the time anyway? One of mine comes running when I call "What are you doing guys? Guys?" Grin

Too gorgeous. We adopted a 1yr old and 18 month old and changed their names. Tried to keep part of the name the same. They soon learnt the new name.

ScreamingValenta · 05/03/2019 18:07

This is totally anecdotal, but in my experience boys are more accommodating to a new cat than girls.

My advice generally is to take it really slowly with introductions and to confine the new cat out of sight for at least a few days so the others can smell him, but not see him.

ScreamingValenta · 05/03/2019 18:09

Teach a new name by saying it as you feed the cat a treat, and then gradually increase the time between saying the name and feeding the treat, so the cat learns to come to you.

Espressomartin · 05/03/2019 18:16

Mine knows her name, she is about 8 mind. We call her all sorts of variations and nicknames and she responds to them all.

I only really told you that as an excuse to share her beauty. Your boys are bloody gorgeous

She looks like my old cat Espresso. What a gorgeous girl, I love black and white cats.

Any name suggestions for new boys? Current cat is officially named Beau but we call him David (Beau-ey).

Creme Brûlée could be Eric? (Eric Clapton - Cream - Creme - keeps with the theme?)

Beautiful boys. ❤️

Espressomartin · 05/03/2019 20:10

Eric, David and Wilf 👍🏻
