Blue cat! - Ink or paint - help, please

Boy cat has got some kind of blue ink or paint on his white bits. Can’t find a source and don’t know how worried to be about him trying to wash it off… Any advice?! Thanks!

Sorry, your thread title made me laugh! Cats are just so... Cats! I'd give your vet a call to see what they say. I called ours out of hours once when DCat had fallen into a bath with bubble bath in it. They found it quite funny

It's it oil? Has he been sitting under cars?!

It's very bright blue. Looks like pen, but I can't find a chewed pen anywhere.

We now think it's paint - a neighbour is having some work done on their water meter and the water board people have sprayed a ring of a similar shade of blue around an access hatch in their grass!
