Strange behaviour

My cat is quite mad. I’ll be sitting reading or watching tv and she’ll start shouting at me and rolling around as if she wants to be stroked. So I heave myself up and go towards her at which point she walks off, checking that I’m following, leads me to her food bowl and starts to eat while purring loudly at the same time. She actually wants me to watch her eat. What on earth? 😹

It's not strange behaviour, it's perfectly normal cat behaviour. They must be worshipped and adored at all times by their human slaves.

Oh i’m glad my cat’s not the only one to do strange things. I always thought cats were independent ( he is my 1st). Ours will follow us to school and will wait all day near the school. If, for a reason or another we don’t go the same way or get picked up in the car, he won’t make his own way home, oh no! I’ll have to go back and get him! He only comes in the house if I whistle for him 🙄. Dp didn’t think it would work because you know, he’s not a dog, but now will ask me to whistle for him to get home 😂😂

I have one that will shout for me at the same time every day, then I have to follow him. He will either get into the litter tray and pee while I wait, or have already pee'd and wait for me to scoop it. Any other time of day he won't make an announcement and will just get on with it.

Mine likes to stand at the door and cry. I get up to let her out the door, she runs into the kitchen and hides under the table. We repeat this pantomime twice.
On the third occasion she runs to her food bowls and head-buts the Felix. I open a packet of Felix and she wraps herself round me purring as I tip it into her bowl. Once in the bowl she ignores it and eats from the dry biscuit bowl instead.

I give up!
