Last week my cat had a puffy eye. No discharge or anything but there were some tiny red marks above her eye.
I bathed the eye and surrounding area with cooled boiled salty water, the swelling went away and she's been fine until today.
I figured she might be scratching and maybe had picked up a flea so treated her for that.
So today I get home from the shops and again her eye is puffed, she has red and broken skin above it and a bigger scrape just at the inner edge of where her ear joins her face.
What could be happening? Ear mites?
The vet is closed till Monday btw and I'll be making an appointment asap.
