My dear little cat Lisa was put to sleep today. People may have read my previous posts about her. She had been getting weaker, not eating or drinking much and they thought she had a upper respiratory tract infection. Treated with antibiotic and some fluids but didn’t improve and today the vet said there was nothing more they could do for her and she probably had some other underlying problems which would need intervention and she was too old to survive anaesthetic etc so it was kinder to let her go. Feeling sad but I knowmit was the right thing to do.
