My 2.5 yr old cat has a weird growth on his shoulder - like the end of a shoelace. We pick it off and it starts growing again like it's made of keratin/toenail! The vets have monitored it over the last 12 months and it has gotten bigger but they were not concerned. It's like he's growing a piece of nail out of his shoulder. He's off to vets this evening as he's scratched it and made it bleed a little but I'm panicking in case it's cancer or something!
Anyone else come across this?
