Random pooing

Hi, we have two six month old male kittens, been with us for five weeks.

Since we have had them I have found poo on our bed twice and a couple of pees as well. Once the boy pooed in front of me. I think he is responsible for all of it.

They seem to like a very clean litter tray so we now have two enormous trays which I keep clean. Both trays were cleaned out this morning but the boy has just pooed on another bed. He had access to both trays.

Any ideas how I can stop this random pooing? Obviously he generally uses the trays with no problem.

They are due for the snip next Monday and will start going outside, will this solve the problem?

Keep the doors closed is the.only way.One of my cats got shut into my dds bedroom and she used the bed when she needed to go.Luckily we have waterproof mattress protectors on all our mattresses.
If they're kept out of the bedrooms long enough they may grow out of it.

People will tell you, you need two trays per cat and one extra. So that’s at least 5 trays for 2 cats.
