Microchip catflap

Hi all, so myself and my two fur babies have temporarily moved in with my parents until my house is ready. They have a cat and a catflap already, and it's one of those catmate microchip ones. I've programmed one cat into the catflap, but it won't open for him. Or at least, if I move him towards it from the inside, it will open, but from the outside it won't. Did I program him in wrong? Any advice?
Ps keeping them in is not an option. They're desperate and I'm desperate!!
Thanks!

Have you set the wee dial to the correct setting?

Thekitten · 02/02/2019 10:53

Yes I believe I did. I've just tried it with the other cat and it's worked.

You don't normally need the chip to get out, just to get back in. Try registering it again

Mine needs the chip to get in and out - you can then control access for different cats.

Csn you put it in learning mode and programme the cat again?
