I've had my cat for11 yrs. She has sat on me twice. Both times involved a furry blanket. I didn't dare breathe till she got off about 2 minutes after she got on

Might try the furry blanket idea as mine don't sit on my lap :(

Her late sister at first would only sit in my knee on a cushion. Then got her onto a towel, then my lap. After that she was a total lap cat!

She got off so had a pee and she's back. Someone make me a cuppa!

Wrapped her in the blanket, cheddar arrived and trod on her!
