So our 11 month old kitten (he’s basically just a small cat now) has run of our home and garden (via a cat flap).
Since we got him (at 8 weeks) we’ve been aware of another cat who we affectionately call ‘Bear Cat’ he looks exactly like our kitten but about 10X the size.
They have lots of staring contests and we have often felt tension but they’ve never actually argued and occasionally seem to ‘play’ but we can’t tell if they’re actually friends or not 🤔
I just heard an odd noise in the kitchen and walked in to find our kitten on top of the fridge with Bear Cat arse up in our sink!!
This is the second time I’ve found him in our house- kitten didn’t do much - just watched him from the top of the fridge.
It was chucking it down outside so I picked up Bear Cat (who seems very domesticated and didn’t mind at all) rubbed him dry with a towel and set him down by the back door- he immediately fled!
All the time I was holding him Kitten started making awful loud yeowling noises!
We can’t figure out WTF is going on with the two of them!
Kitten has been snipped (I suspect bear cat has too) - we can’t decide whether we’re protecting kitten or being mean!!
