After losing a pet

Had to have my beautiful boy PTS on Wednesday, and have opted for private cremation as opposed to group so we'll get his ashes back.

What kind of options are there that people have used for ashes? I can't decide at the moment to maybe scatter or keep them.

Sleep well my lovely Jeffy.

I had a teaspoon full put in a glass piglet (They can't put ashes in cat figures) from the Bath Aqua glass company. I'd. Ought an identical piggy for a friend a few years ago and always liked it, so thought it was a nice idea. The rest of her I will sprinkle on my friends garden when he's had it done up.

I'd already had a stamp made with the girls paw prints on to sign Christmas cards so I also had a solver key ring made from Cheeky little prints. ThanksCakeBrew for you. It's a horrible time.

Thank you.
I wish I'd thought about getting his paw print before. That's a lovely idea.

Did the vet offer to take a clay print?

AlpacaPicnic · 18/01/2019 22:31

No, sadly not. We did get a last photo of him though.

If you have any photos of his toe beans it can be done from that. I had to do it with Cheddar, as she was not having her paw print taken!
