Hello, our poor kitty was hit by a car over New Year, and buried in the garden. Unfortunately the foxes came last night and dug up body. We want to keep her in garden so have re buried, but wondered if anyone has any recommendations for fox replellent that actually works.
Thanks x

Sorry to hear about your cat Flowers.
Dig as deep as possible to bury her and maybe put a big sturdy flower pot on top. There are things you can buy in garden centres etc but no idea if they work.

I'm very sorry. Yes I agree with Vinorosso and was going to say the same thing.

DF used to urinate in the garden to "mark it as his territory". It worked.
Dunno if he just went out there to wee or stored it up in a pot first, I didn't really want to know!

Sorry for your loss Flowers

Thanks for your messages and very useful advice. Have laid 2 woven fence panels over the top of the spot, and they are heavy so hoping will do the trick for now. Have heard that about the wee before but didn't know if worked. Will get hubby to wee outside a few times then! Cat remains have been put inside a bag now so hope that will reduce the smell.

Get a concrete paving slab on top, they wont be able to get that off.

Good idea, only thing is it's the lawn that she buried under so don't want to pave the lawn. I also wondered if they might dig under from the side of paving slab? The fence panels are quite big so fingers crossed we don't come across another gruesome sight when we look out of the window in the morning!

This does work, has to be male urine, can you get someone to pee in a jug and drizzle it around the perimeter of the garden?
