Weeing!!!

At the end of my tether! Got a lovely kitten in August. Well litter trained, uses it everyday. But he's started weeing in bed! Started out having little wees on spare bed. Took advice and got a second litter tray for upstairs; worked for a while, he still uses it. But he's started weeing on me! First time I woke up and was sure he had and this morning woke up and he had climbed under the duvet and wee'd all over me, the sheet, the duvet. He never does it on DP only ever on me.

How the hell do I fix this? (He has a vet appt in the week to rule out cystitis or any other medical cause).

Oh god. Cat wee. The worst. I'm so sorry but have no advice. A pet behaviourist may be able to help. Or even research online.

The only thing that stopped the late Maia wearing on the sofa was by putting my handbag or something else on it.

I have this with one of mine. Despite now having 6 litter trays for 2 cats. Mine only does it once a week and in a different place each time.

Have you checked whether the litter trays were both clean? He hadn’t done a poo in both or something overnight? My random wee-er won’t wee in a tray with poo in or one he considers too dirty ( which can be one wee!). Has anything changed near the litter trays at all?

I’m hoping mine might stop when he is allowed outdoors. You haven’t sympathy it’s awful.
