We're using one at the end of the month. For anyone who has used one, do you just pay them or leave them a little thank you as well?
I know its her business but i also feel shes doing me a massive favour!

I just pay, except at Xmas when the cat got her a little present (bottle of wine).

I'm having the same dilemma. I've got a new sitter coming on Sunday. She's my managers daughter and I let her park for free on my drive as I live in walking distance to the hospital we all work in. Her mum said she'll do it for free. But she does pet sitting as a business, and is going out of her way to come and see them. She charges £15 for two visits. Would leaving £10 be ok?

I think if it was only £15 id leave the full amount. My sitter is £8 per visit and she's going to be coming 6 times!

She's only coming once, so I thought £10 was reasonable.
