When to change from kitten food?

Boycat will be one next month, roughly. Girlcat is a couple of months younger. Clearly they're going to eat the same food so is it better to change both to cat food or keep both on kitten?

Are they spayed/ neutered? If they are they should both be ok on adult food. Their calorie needs decrease once they have been 'done' so not so much need for kitten food

Yes both done. OK thanks that's good to know. I'll use up my kitten food stash and move them on.

I'd mix old and new food so you bring it in gradually

I have just swapped to adult wet food on our last zooplus order. They are 8 1/2 months here. They still have a supply of kitten dry biscuits that will last another few months so they are on a mixture really. I also read that they can become overweight easily once neutered if still on high calorie kitten food.
