Long drive with cat

I am moving house next month, new home is a 7.5hr drive from where I am now. I am single, so will need to do the drive alone which will obviously mean lots of breaks and potentially an overnight one.

Has anyone done similar with DCat in tow? Can you share any tips or advice for me? DCat is pretty lazy but easily spooked. She’s about 5 and has a heart murmur, so I am always conscious of minimising stress on her, but I can’t see how this won’t be stressful!

I moved house ( only four hours away so didn't stop) - keep the cat carrier as far from the engine noise as possible and keep the carrier covered with a blanket. Accept they will probably urinate or deficate.
I'd try not to stay overnight anywhere and just have a couple of short breaks for yourself.
