He is a gorgeous boy.

We took him to see MIL this morning but it was a disaster. Previous visits have gone well but she told us to leave and wouldn't touch him. I felt sorry for him after being put in his box and taken in the car. The staff at the care home were more pleased to see him! Sadly I don't think he'll be going again. I've tried to make up for it all with stinky fish treats!

Oh dear. Is she 'dementing'? :(

PinkSparklyPussyCat · 06/01/2019 12:33

I think so, although she's on high doses of morphine. She's 100 next month so it's to be expected but, even if she's been confused in the past, she's always loved seeing him and he's cheered her up. She's asked a few times recently when we're taking him in and she always asks how he is, even when she's really confused.

Oh dear. How sad for all, especially MIL who (it sounds like) was having a bad day. I'm wrapping my mind around her being born in 1919!
