Cat carrier for big cat

Can anyone recommend a carrier for a big cat? He’s around 11lbs so needs to be sturdy! I’ve tried a couple now and they have been useless

I use a Dog It! Carrier from pets at home. I have a teeny 6lb cat but she likes a lot of room....

Thanks, will have a look at that one. I was thinking something a small dog carrier would be the better option.

Our 18lb Maine Coon used to manage just fine in a large plastic Ferlast from P@H.

Added quite a bit of weight itself though, so not great for actually carrying large distances.

I have a small dog carrier for Colin (he is a long 8kg). He’s bloody heavy in it though, welish id got one of those wheeled ones that look like a cabin bag on wheels.

This is teeny cat. All 2.85kg of her!

Here he is! Only a year old so still growing, although I don’t think he will beat 18lbs! Can we have a photo??

The wire carriers are the safest, MDC and Metalcote are the best brands available in the UK.

Mia weighs 6.5 kg. When I have to take her to the vet or so, I put her in a dog carrier and cycle with her.

Obie on the other hand is around 25 pounds and is in a large dog carrier !!!
(They are Maine Coons hence the size!)
