Missing Cat

My cat has been missing since beginning of December ☹ I have been out looking, knocking on doors, leaflet posting and putting up posters in shops and online.

We've had dirty washing on the line and the litter tray outside. I've alerted the vet and the local rescue. He's chipped, so in the early days I was holding out hope that he was ok as he's not be scanned. I tried following our other cat, his brother, but no sign.

He's only small and with the cold nights we've had I'm now not holding out much hope. My DD is upset, crying on a night, breaks my heart. Is there anything else I can do??

Small as in young? Is he neutered?

It could be someone has taken him in assuming he is a stray. Perhaps widen the area where you've leafleted/put posters up, and post on nearby areas Facebook groups as well.

He's 2 years old and neutered, just a small cat. I have put it on surrounding villages Facebook pages. I will print some more posters and put in local shops in other villages.

Mine went out in September and never came back. It’s heartbreaking the not knowing 💐

Yes, the not knowing is a hard part of it ☹ I keep holding out hope, you hear stories of them strolling back in months later but it's hard not to think bad things! Thinking of you both too Mike and Pilates.
