FLEAS!

Cat has fleas. DH and I both thought each other had done his flea treatment two weeks ago, and a couple of days ago I started being bitten to death and realised. He’s currently chilling out at the vet’s while I fumigate our house. Please tell me this won’t actually take months to deal with like some of the horror stories I’ve read?!

Oh I don’t know if I can unfortunately.
Our cats having fleas was one of the most stressful things that’s ever happened to me.
But we had 10 cats at the time (fostering) and we didn’t realise they had them for ages.

Oh no @Calvinsmam! 😫

That sounds awful!! I’m finding it stressful enough with one cat!

I went mad and took up my carpet in the middle of the night with a spoon.

The good news is though they did all go and though it was stressful at the time it actually wasn’t that hard to get rid of them.

Just keep hoovering to wake up the eggs.

It won't be too bad. We had fleamageddon after one holiday. A week of more effective flea treatment and indorex for the house and they were gone.

Horrible whilst it was happening though!
