Ginger tom name

Thoughts on Floyd for a ginger tom kitten? (Yes prog rock, not boxing was the inspiration!), I haven't really met him yet so don't know what his personality will be. Any other ideas? Not a "ginger" name though. I think he will be a nervous/gentle rather than a bruiser type.

Floyd is a nice name.

I'm a bit rubbish at names, which is probably why my current ginger tom is called Big Ginge. It was a working title sort of name until I chose something, but then I never got around to changing it. Poor lad...

I've had lots of ginger cats (as well as lots of everything else) and I tried to name them after famous ginger people - but only managed to think of Harry and Bradley (Eastenders) and a girl called Demelza. There seems to be a shortage of famous ginger haired people, or more likely a problem with my ability to recall them.

I probably should have started the thread differently, but I really don't want a name that is just "ginger" like Marmalade. I want to be "ginger neutral", so he can self-ID as black/tabby/tortoiseshell if the mood takes him!
