Cat yawning at Christmas tree.

We have an artificial Christmas tree. Had it about 4/5 years. It's been put up in it's usual spot . Dcat ( as with most cats ) takes a interest in it. Batting the ornaments ,having a chew etc. This year however she sits in front of it yawning - repeatedly. I've looked it up on the internet and one site says yawning in cats could be a sign of conflict. Yet she will choose to sit right next to it ! Does anyone's cat have strange behaviour towards your Christmases tree ?

Was it a ruse to make you think she's not interested? Has it been demolished yet?

Yep, sounds like your cat is giving the tree a warning to back out of the room before it is beaten to a pulp

She is trying to decide whether to piss on it or destroy it Xmas Grin
