So my 9 year old girl has 'a mass' that's attached to her kidney and her bowel. Had a scan today but it was inconclusive and vet can't tell what it is, so on Friday they're opening her up to see what it is and get samples to biopsy. They can't do it through a needle as the thing has its own blood supply and they would only get blood not tissue, and it's too big to cut out.
It's not good is it, if it's attached to a kidney do I need to assume the outcome is fairly bleak?
She's uncomfortable and lying in weird ways, look at this she's kind of twisted round, I've never seen her lie like this before. My poor girl 💖
