Give me some hope

My sweet little indoor Siamese went missing almost 2 weeks ago. Nipped out the back door and disappeared. I've done everything I can think of to find her and I so I wait with hope that she might be found or return somehow. I'm feeling a bit low about it all, as is her brother who currently howls around the house. It's devastating. Can anyone lift my spirits with tales of long lost reunions?

Ours was missing for two weeks and we eventually found her. It was an awful time. I hope yours comes home soon.

Why was she an indoor cat? Has she ever been out before? Is she spayed?

thecatneuterer · 14/12/2018 16:54

and is she chipped? Have you leafleted all the surrounding houses and put posters on lampposts? Have you knocked on neighbours' doors and asked them to check their sheds and garages?

Have you been leaving food outside your house? This is something you must do constantly, even if you don't see her. If she does come back can she get in? How would you know she's there?

Had a cat that disappeared for 5 weeks and just causally strolled in the back door, straight over to his food bowl, as if he had just been gone for 5 minutes. Don't give up, I know so many similar stories of cats missing for sometime, only to return home completely unharmed

Have also successfully rescued 2 cats after seeing their pictures on social media (so yes people do pay attention to missing pet pics) and retuning them to their rightful owners.

Hope your little puss turns up safe and well.Smile

You're not alone. CharlieAlphaTango has been missing a week and a half and it's awful.
