For 9 week old kittens. There are so many to choose from! Currently using catsan non clumping as that's what they were used to. I'm not keen on the smell- even while it's still in the bag!
I like the idea of clumping litter but I've read that it isn't a good idea for young kittens because it's dangerous if they eat it..... but they've certainly not tried eating their current litter? Is there something about the clumping litter that makes them want to eat it?
It is worth paying for the more expensive types? Do they really need changing less often?
