This is our lovely 4yr old lady.
Very excited!! I have three children 16,13 & 10. And want to make her arrival as stress free for her as possible. It’s a busy house, but she’s quite a confident cat. Any tips greatfully received! She has longish hair so will need some grooming.
Also are there any things I should buy other than the obvious food, bed, litter tray. I had cats as a kid but this is our first family pet. Hoping to pick her up after next weekend as we’re away for two nights. Smile X

Get a metal comb and a kids tangle teaser Furminators don't work on long hair. Vet nurses will do a 'hygiene' trim. Trust me, it's a good idea to have it done! She looks gorgeous!

Oh my. She’s lovely. Check what food and litter she is on. Is she flea and worm treated? Vaccinated? Neutered and chipped? If she is microchipped don’t forget to transfer the details to you.
Toys?
Mine are short haired and love the zoom groom. Not sure how it would work on that fur.
First night we shut them into one room. Let them explore and then the next day let them explore the house. But they were kittens.
Remember to keep her in for a few weeks. And find a vet to register with.
Enjoy!!

Sorry but I did have to chuckle at the buying her a bed, we have all done it with the best intentions but they will sleep anywhere but theirs beds, even perhaps on the floor next to said lovingly bought bed! 😆 blumming cats! Enjoy her, she is lovely! I am sure she will fit in just fine but may find somewhere to hide for a couple of days before relaxing and exploring a bit more of her surroundings.

Thank you! We’ve actually got a selection of cardboard boxes with fleece blankets/old dressing gowns in for her choice of beds!! Until she finds her way to the bedrooms of course!! Smile
