Fleas - HELP

Last night whilst getting ready for bed, realised ankles were bitten to death. Urgh. Not long after realised there were fleas in my bed. Sprayed all my bedding.

Now my lot have been at the cattery for a week, so I assumed I had picked some up when at my sisters last night (not that she appears to have a flea problem). But from the evidence this morning my bedroom is infested - but how? I thought they died without a feline host? I have over 50 bites on my legs. Sob!

So bed stripped, am off to get loads of flea spray, and spray as much as possible.

The issue is I am part way through a nightmare kitchen installation so my kitchen stuff is covering most of the carpet upstairs, and I'm also recovering from a hip replacement op. To be honest, I could just cry because there is only me to sort and I cannot see how I can get all the buggers when I physically cannot move furniture or there are just boxes piled everywhere. I have certain restrictions to avoid risk of dislocation which make it impossible.

Any bright ideas while I go tool up?

Get your flea spray from the vet. Plus treatment for the cats.

Ignore instructions just to spray it round the edges of the room - spray it everywhere. Hope for the best.

Have been lucky with fleas for years but my last cats arrived with them. Only vet spray worked - stuff from supermarket/pet shop was rubbish.

Indorex from Amazon! It kills fleas eggs etc and protects your house for a year

What treatment are you using on the cats? Advantage or a vet treatment are the ones that work
