Enjoying being Harry's slaves!

After all the ups and downs with Harry's health over the last few years we have decided that, while he's well, we're only taking him to the vets for his annual jabs and a check up. If the vet wants to do blood tests when we're there then fine but he's not going especially for that. His cat sitter (a vet nurse) agrees it's the right thing for him.

Obviously if anything changes we'd be there like a shot, but right now we're going to enjoy being his slaves.

Here's the obligatory photo!

A photo of him next to a photo! How is he handling is wider fame and stardom?
I think that's a sensible idea-if he gets stressed there then only take him when necessary.

He's taking his fame in his stride - I posted one of his calendars (signed of course) to the US yesterday so he's on track for worldwide domination!

He's pretty good at the vets but at one point I thought he wouldn't have any fur left as the vet kept shaving him for blood tests. His new vet doesn't seem to want to do any more than necessary so we're happy to go along with that. He takes his Ipakitine for his kidneys, eats well (too well sometimes!), plays with his toys and his weight is stable. The only downside his cough but the vet can't find a cause so it looks as though I'll have to live with being coughed over!

I've made the same decision with Snorg. I'm not going to go looking for problems. Same with. Cheddar. Snorg says she's so proud of gorgeous boy Harry.

I seem to have spent the last 3 years backwards and forwards to the vets while they looked for things wrong with him. His new vet seems pretty chilled and more 'leave him be'.

I think it's time we were both able to relax and enjoy them Toddler. Between Fatty, Snorg and Harry we must have aged a lot. Harry says he's equally proud of his Snorg and waves hello.

I'll properly relax next week when Snorg has been for a checkup with the cardiologist although I'm sure she's fine.

I took cheddar to the vet about her vomiting the other day and the vet wanted to do bloods to rule out chronic pancreatitis. I said no as she's far to well for that. She's just a delicate little flower!

I think I had enough vet visits with dear old Vinocat to last me beyond a lifetime. I was in contact with the vet more regularly than anyone else I think!
