My new rescue cat is sat on my lap for the first time! She's purring!
She had such a hard start in life and has mostly hidden for the first week so I expected her to take a long time to settle... and then all of a sudden here she is! I'm so excited but trying to keep very, very still so thought I'd squeeee here instead.
I'm not normally a soppy human but oh my god I love her

She has just realised that she's found a lovely human who will love and care for her for the rest of her life.

She's gorgeous, I love black cats.

How old is she?

@EachandEveryone 8 months the vet guessed but she's very petite. She had kittens 3 months ago but was too malnourished to feed them
