Just finished a night shift and tucking into marmite on toast. The little bugger started licking the slice on the plate! Cheeky madam. She's already had her breakfast!

Oh but that FACE!!!!!

YetAnotherSpartacus · 01/11/2018 09:36

I think you have a real cat on your hands now Toddler!

Orangelover · 01/11/2018 09:48

Cheddar's little face ShockGrin so cute.

My cat steals/licks any food in sight Hmm

ifonly4 · 01/11/2018 10:55

Had you eaten any of it? I always remember I left a slice of lemon cake in the lounge and came back to find my boy finishing off the crumbs!

Cally62 · 01/11/2018 11:08

My ball of fluff loves marmite too.

Love the squidgy face ...and not a smear of marmite in sight. Grin

Papergirl1968 · 01/11/2018 11:51

Take your eyes off your cereal in this house and a furry head is straight in there...

Ps I used to be super fussy about throwing out any food the cat had been at, but having come across dd once sharing an ice cream with him, one lick for him and then one for her, I kind of gave up...

TheLongRider · 01/11/2018 12:26

Cheddar's face reminds me of Edna Mode from the Incredibles, especially the nose! She's lovely.

TeddyIsaHe · 01/11/2018 12:27

Cheddar is beautiful!!!! Her nose! She can come over and have marmite on toast with dd and I ANYTIME! Grin

DisKitten · 01/11/2018 12:30

I've taken to making an extra slice of marmite on toast whenever I have any so I don't have to share my slices with my kitten.

ScreamingValenta · 01/11/2018 12:33

You'll have to make her a slice of her own tomorrow!

Toddlerteaplease · 01/11/2018 13:20

It is weird having a more normal cat. She even sits in boxes! I hadn't touched the bit she licked. She has always refused titbits before so I was quite surprised!

That is the face of no regrets. :o

LanguidLobster · 01/11/2018 15:59

@Paperfirl1968 oooh is that Matt? Haven't seen him before!

Sorry about your marmite toddler, hope you manage to defend it better from Cheddar next time

LanguidLobster · 01/11/2018 16:00

And good luck with that bwah haha

Papergirl1968 · 01/11/2018 16:46

Yes, Lobster.
Haven’t seen you on here lately. How are you doing?
As you can see, it’s pointless worrying too much about food hygiene when Dd2 and Matt do this!

LanguidLobster · 01/11/2018 17:49

@Papergirl1968 what a beautiful pic of dd and (not so fat) Matt!

I don't come here as often as I don't have a little cat to love anymore (you know what it's like) but still check in from time to time to admire others and it's always a bit heart wrenching to hear when other's go

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 01/11/2018 17:58

Oh, how gorgeous!

Inarightpickleandchutney · 01/11/2018 17:59

I think you should be appalled at cheddar and send her to live with me instead Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 01/11/2018 18:16

You can have her. I'd quite like some uninterrupted sleep!

Cheddar is going to be an internet sensation if you don't watch out! I see a cat with plans for world domination. Smile

Papergirl1968 · 01/11/2018 19:48

Thank you, Lobster and I know what you mean about the sad threads. Some days I just can’t read them.
Matt has never been a lap cat but is currently asleep on me and I’m feeling very blessed.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/11/2018 08:02

Karma. Cheddar was eating her breakfast and Snorg swiped her away and ate it herself. ( not sure what was wrong with the other equally filled bowl!)

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/11/2018 08:09

I assume you have seen this?

Ineedabiscuit · 02/11/2018 10:41

That’s such a great video - thanks for posting . I’m a cpl fosterer but I said goodbye to my latest charges a few days ago . I’m really missing them as I always do - food wise nothing was safe I remember the boy made a beeline for birthday cake .
hopefully I’ll have a new one soon !
