Ginger cat and black cat = what kittens?

Mine is neutered before anyone jumps on me 
I had a google and found the two cats my cat was brought into rescue with
They were mum and daughter. I guess I'm wondering if he was the dad. He is black, Mum is ginger and the daughter is a weird black/ginger hybrid. I have photos if it helps!

I see what you mean from daughter's face but the rest of her body looks tortoiseshell. Its certainly a possibility but not a guarantee.

I believe daughter is a calico, tortoiseshell is all black and ginger with no white/cream.

Such cuties. I have a tabby, a tortoise and two black and whites.
