Chicken and rice

Cat has a dodgy tum. Vet said to put him on chicken and rice for a few days. What type of chicken is best? And how do you cook it?

I have tried to do this when mine are ill. They always refuse to eat it as if it doesn't look like kibble, it's not food. Bastards.

Seems odd to suggest rice when cats are obligate carnivores and can only absorb nutrients from meat?

You can boil chicken breast. That is probably the best way as there is very little fat.
