As a family we've had a crap year, lost DF & DSF, lots of issues with DM but we/I've coped.
So silly but Windgirl died today, I'm knocked sideways.

... losing a cat. When ours passed away unexpectedly it was devastating, seemed to bring to a head all the things that happened in the last few years. Flowers and hugs.
