It has now been 9 weeks that my cat has been missing, with 2 possible sightings just a 5 minute walk from my house in the opposite direction we had been looking, so either someone has had her, kept her in and just started to let her out and she doesn't realise how close she is or she's been chased from her territory by another cat or she is staying away by herself on purpose. I know another cat that goes on walkabouts like her but i really could do with hearing some success stories if you're cat had been missing for +6 weeks . (Back story: She'd gone missing before for a week and had been building up to it,2,4,7 days etc but now she's taking the piss.) (PS i have done everything you're supposed to, i help run a missing cat page so i know, Facebook, posters, leaflets, rescues, vets, council everything/one has been informed.) Next stop, local paper i think

We borrowed a trapping cage from Cats Protection and put it in the front garden. After 3 nights we found her in it. Couldn't believe it!

Hope she's found soon.

Put her litter tray and/or your hoover contents in the garden.

Lots of cats eventually come home.

My friends cat went missing for 4 months, over the really cold winter. It turned out he was living it up with a feral colony and when finally returned (owner of the land thought he was too friendly to be feral so took him to be scanned) he had to be put on a diet!

If you are in the north west I have been trying to find the owner of a beautiful cat for about that length of time.

Can't put a trap out, i have 5 other cats and loads of others are in the area, she never used a litter tray so it never had her scent in it but tried it anyway and a fat load of nothing came of it.
