The sort they wear after surgery etc.

My cat has very delicate facial skin and is needing to wear a collar pretty much all the time. Currently has a plastic one from the vet. Are there more lightweight and comfortable ones available?

You can get soft Elizabethan collars and inflatable ones too

You can also get bodysuits for cats if the area they haven't to touch is on the body

It’s to stop it touching its face? There should be better ones - vet should know, in fact

Or there’s a thing called Optivisor?

The softer cone can probably be worked around so the visor type might be better

Company called comfy collars also recommend optivizor for face protection.
