I spotted a flea on my cat three days ago and treated him with frontline plus - I've spotted another flea on him today :(

(He's inside only currently)

Can I treat him again / any other tips?!

Thanks :(

are you frequently vacuuming, or did you spray with indorex & leave it a few days before vacuuming again?

The flea can't die until it gets on your cat for a while to get exposed to the poison, and the fleas don't seem to die instantly. New fleas can hatch out any time which is why vacuuming helps (removes the larvae, eggs, & larvae food). Nothing kills the larvae/eggs, so physical removal (vacuuming) speeds up them getting out of your home.

The vet told us the shop bought stuff is rubbish. Our dogs have had a tablet that lasts 3 months. In December I'm buying collars on prescription that will last at least 8 months. The bldy cat brought the fleas in I'm sure. She's getting a collar too. 😡

I've heard frontline is no good. Mine get stronghold plus from the vet

Most vets nowadays say that Frontline is no good as fleas are resistant to it. My cat has stiff from the vet, which is in a pipette (to put on the back of the cat's neck/in-between shoulderblades)and it lasts for 3 months.
