Hi, currently cat sitting for my neighbours while they are on holiday - due back on Thursday.
I let the cat out this morning as per usual and when he came back in he has a cut on his chin! It doesn't look deep and wasnt bleeding when he came in but it looks like a wee flap of skin is hanging off.
I don't know much about cats , do I need to clean it? With what? Take him to vet? He seems fine otherwise.
Thanks

I think I would sit tight and see what happens. However, if you're concerned a saline solution applied with cotton wool might help. Just looked up, boil water, one cup to half teaspoon of salt.

Are your neighbours in the uk?

Thanks, I have cleaned it a bit and it doesn't look too bad now. No, they are in Spain! He is eating and drinking fine so I'm not too worried.
