Should I feed my cat after vomiting?

My cat was fairly sick this morning - brought up all of his breakfast. He's now starving and pestering me for food. I was just going to let him have water for the time being, but he's telling me otherwise. Would it be ok to feed him now?

Mine have their dry food down 24/7. Boycat occasionally bolts his food & throws the whole lot up a few minutes after (completely undigested), then goes back to the dry food bowl for a munch. If I don't clean it up before it's dried out, e.g. been out, one or the other of them will eat the dried vomit with an appearance of relish (yuk!).

Mine has been projectile vomiting because I changed her food to quick. She certainly didn't loose her appertains wasn't unwell. She'dhave only scoffed her sisters food anyway! If she was actually unwell I'd have probably not fed her.

Thanks! I fed him again and he's kept it down so far.
