...and I should be asleep.

But instead I am sat on the floor exchanging slow blinks with my lovely but nervy rescue cat sat a metre away on the sofa as this is the closest she has let me get to her whilst being "out in the open"

Perfectly rational behaviour yes?? The things we do for them!

Ahh slowly slowly catchy pussy cat 🤗

StripySocksAndDocs · 28/09/2018 00:40

Ah, lovely. It'll be worth it for that moment she comes up to you.

How long you had her?

Penguinsetpandas · 28/09/2018 00:45

Hope you continue to get closer.

1am is just the start of playtime for my cat. 😂 or 😭 not sure!

needakickupthearse · 28/09/2018 00:47

If it's any consolation i can't sleep and just shared the ham out of one of the kids lunchables that I just nicked out the fridge 😂😂

With my cat (forgot that bit) 🙄😂

They've been here almost 4 weeks now - boy cat is fearless and cuddly and a joy (and also likes a 1am run around...). Girl cat is going to be a very rewarding investment of time (fingers crossed...)

I could have a girlfriend for him 😎, especially if he also likes a 1am to 3am on and off howl as everyone is sleeping and it's play / getmewater as I refused to drink all day but now urgently need a drink / don't ignore me time. 😻

I should introduce him to Arthur. Arthur does everything, eating, drinking and playing from within the bottom hidey hole of the cat tree. Luckily I have no evidence that he is doing anything else in there, the litter tray is testament o that! He'll also be a very good investment when it pays off.
