Best kitten food. Grain free?

We have very adorable 8 week old kitten brothers.
At the moment they’re on a mix of dry and wet bog standard Whiskas kitten food.
I’d like to ensure they grow well and eat well. Is grain free the way to go?

Yes. Cats are carnivores and some find it hard to digest grains. If you look at the ingredients of the whiskas kitten dry food you will find hardly any meat and lots of cereals. Supermarkets don't tend to have a good range of grain free but pets at home will or zooplus online has an extensive range

Sainsburys own brand wet food is grain free, it has a cute little ginger kitten on the front. We've been giving this to ours. We can't get him to fully eat grain free dry food, I'm just mixing it into whiskas at the moment and slowly reducing the amount of Whiskas.
