What does your cat do that makes you smile?

I've been reading the dog thread and it's put a real smile on my face, what is it your cats do that warm your heart?

DCat1 will sleep across my feet when it's cold and keeps the warm in the cold months. He runs upstairs even we put the lights off to go to bed and makes sure he is there ready for me to get into bed.

He also meows at any household visitors and leads them to where his food is kept to tell them his starving he is.

DCat2 will stand next to the sink and meow at us when she wants a drink so we turn the tap on. She also choose the most uncomfortable places in the house to sleep at night despite having beds/sofas etc

DCat3 never leaves our side, she always wants to be on your lap or next to you. She will snuggle up next to you and do a contented little sigh as she drifts off to sleep, melts my heart.

My Mr Cooper greets me when I get home - if he's out, he'll run up to my car to greet me. If he's in, he runs to the door when he hears me.

He also loves to be cuddled and kissed, and he'll nudge my mouth with his nose when he wants me to kiss him. He drools when he's really loving the attention.

Even after nearly 2.5 years, almost everything they do makes me smile! OK maybe not when Boycat decides to "decorate" in the living room i.e. making interesting patterns by tearing strips of wallpaper off the wall, or when he upchucks right in a doorway, or when either of them does a particularly smelly poo in the litter tray, but just about everything else does.

They lift my heart by just existing in my home

They make me smile just by existing! I can't believed I am lucky enough to have them in my life. The late Fatty made me incredibly proud of her, and I felt a bit smug that she was so brilliant at taking her tablets.

I have 4 cats. Teddy is a bit of a scaredy cat but Arlo lets him beat him in play fights just to sort of humour him. It's quite cute.

ShotsCat is usually a very grumpy old lady, but she's taken to playing chase with me.

I do this kind of stupid Frankenstein walk and she waits till I am right there before sprinting off and waiting for me to lumber over to her again.

She also does that weird vibrating stretch in her sleep thing and snores gently and then I love her the most.

My car Mavis is a complete and utter dick.
He constantly meows (even for a open door to be ooo)
He wrecks everything ( including new wallpaper because he did not like the smell of it)
He wakes me up to early every day for nothing
He makes me go looking for him in bad west and when I'm cold and wet enough for him , he appears all dry and warm!

I bloody love him 🐈🐈🐈

My little Nix is very cuddly and I love him for that but when he wants to play he his soooooo cute and a real little tinker. Here he is with his fave toy, a little orange ball with a bell in it
