So at 1am this morning.

I heard my cat crying under my bed at 1am this morning. It was a funny sound that he doesn’t normally make so I checked. Saw him with a mouse. Ugh.

So I went to the loo and came back to a racket. The mouse which I thought was dead wasn’t. And was alive. And being chased.

Woke up husband. And we both were awake trying to stop this situation.

A few mins later the mouse disappeared and my cat couldn’t find it.

An hour of searching for this mouse I gave up. And so did my cat!!!!!! He went off to sleep.

So now the cat has not bothered to look for it. And now I have to find a mouse in my house.

He never used to bring mice in ever as he used to climb up the conservatory and get in though my sons window. So not sure he could manage it. He is not that agile.

But since we had a cat flap installed he brings them in all the time.

I think I’m done letting him out at night.

So...... how do I find the mouse!!!!!!!!

Cheese?

You get humane mouse traps, put a bit of peanut butter/cheese inside and that should attract them. Leave it out at night time and the wee mouse should be inside there in the morning. It worked for us anyways lol

Not sure as how to find the mouse but we make sure our cat flap is locked so they can only go out and have to knock to get back in ( they annoyingly tap the flap) otherwise I dread to think what they'd bring in with them

Eugh! I'd have burned the house down!

I don't let mine out at night at all anyway. Too unsafe.
