Day 32...She's still missing....

My cat has been missing 32 days.....Her record before this was 7 days. I'm losing my mind.

I'm so sorry. She's beautiful. I'm sure you've read and followed all the advice on this forum re leaving out her bedding, litter, asking neighbours, local vets, notifying microchip company, local Facebook groups etc. Fingers, toes, paws crossed xx

So sorry to hear this. If she's gone missing for 7 days before, it makes me wonder if she's living somewhere else. Is she microchipped?

I’m so sorry she’s missing, I hope she’s found soon. Facebook is a good way to search for missing pets. Has there been any sightings of her?

Please don’t give up hope, I hope she returns home safely soon. I know how awful it is to go through this. Mine was missing for longer and returned so it can happen. Keep looking. Have you tried going out early in morning and late at night to look?

I'm so so sorry. I've a similar cat and I went potty when she went. She would go for a few days then pop back for one over a 6 week period. She's around more now it's cooler. Don't give up hope. Do you have a "gut feeling" where she could be? When I have had a cat go missing they've usually been where I felt in my heart that they could be. I really feel for you, I didn't want to read and run.

I've tried everything, i've been out all hours looking for her, posted on facebook (my mum actually runs a missing pets page so we have lots of members and contacts) , i dont think she'd go to anyone she's no much of a people cat,notified the chip company, asked the local rescues, the council, the vets everywhere! And just today we were put in contact with a psychic (if you don't believe in that kind of thing fine but no need to inform me that its fake or whatever and it was free of charge so not a money scam) she's still a beginner she said but she said things that made sense that she couldn't have known or found out on social media, so i think she may have narrowed our search area into specific areas. Fingers Crossed x

So sorry you are going through this. It really is so stressful and upsetting. Like the others said, don't give up hope 💐 . Easier said than done I know. These little rascals really do put us through it don't they! X

I've printed a bunch of posters today and we may have a lead, i live on the outskirts of town surrounded by fields (perfect hunting ground) but within those fields are big estates, asked at one today and the guy had seen a cat just this morning! He didn't get a good look but he heard it. It's the best and only lead we've had so far so we set a trap for it. If its her awesome but it could be someone else's lost kitty cos the dude said that there's no other cats in the area. He said not to put food in the trap since it would just lure other animals (in a woodland area) so we put a cushion of hers, some catnip from the garden and a hoodie i had on that day with my scent on it. The areas a bit further than we'd have thought but its completely possible.

Also sounds bad but i kinda hope this time has scared her so maybe she won't go so far in future

Hi OP - just wondering if she came back?

Not yet :( but there were 2 sightings within 2 weeks. We put an ad out in the local paper and then the sightings stopped. Either she's a very smart cat who can read the paper or whoever has her seen it and panicked and kept her in. We're putting another ad in tomorrow and we've upped the reward money, the second ad will show that we're not giving up so easy.We're getting her back, just a matter of time.

Fingers crossed. She's such a pretty cat x
