Scab fallen off wound

My dcat was attacked by a dog 11days ago (thankfully lucky to still have her!) She had one wound around which the area was shaved & the wound treated. This subsequently scabbed over & was healing fine. Tonight I've noticed that the scab has fallen/been knocked off (obviously after the vet has closed so I can't ring them...It's like they know!) Would this worry you? Pic hopefully attached 🤞 No other concerns with her just don't want to risk this getting infected

Has she had antibiotics as well?
I would keep a very close eye on it to make sure it is not increasing in size. Unfortunately I know of a case that was left untreated for a long time and the wound got bigger and bigger. It then formed a giant scab which the cat would scratch off and it would start again. In the end the poor cat had to be put down because the wound was massive. It is not the case with yours but monitor it closely and go back to the vet as soon as you notice it’s not healing or it is growing in size

I forgot to say the problem above was related to the scab thickness. Apparently too thick a scab doesn’t let the skin underneath heal.

Thank you very much for your reply. I'm keeping a close eye on it, it appears dry at the moment with no weeping & she doesn't seem to be over fussing the area. She was on antibiotics for the first few days but is now just having a daily dose of metacam. I'll see how it is in the morning but think I'll email the pic to the vets for their initial thoughts. Thanks again
