My 4 year old boy cat took himself off for a few days, and cane back last week with fleas and a patch of hair loss on his back and tail, which on closer examination looks like the result of flea bites.
I took him to the vet last week to change his flea medication but only got to see the vet nurse, who barely looked at the skin issue. He just said it would clear up once the fleas have all died. It's been a few days now since my boy has his treatment, as well as spraying the entire house with the spray from the vets, and I don't think it's getting any better? I haven't seen any fleas but there is definitely still flea dirt on him :(
At which point do I need to go back to the vets? He's back in 3 weeks as it's a once a month treatment, he doesn't seem to be in pain with it, it just looks a mess
