Do Appleaws biscuits smell?

Thinking of swapping the Toddler girls to different food as RC Persian makes cheddar very sick. The cattery suggested appleaws but said the biscuits absolutely stink the house out.

Yes, but not in a bad way, just a "hearty" way if that even makes sense!

Toddlerteaplease · 06/09/2018 21:45

Hmm, I've just seen how much it costs! They won't be having that then!

I use Lily’s kitchen kitten biscuits - the wet food is quite se,my bit dry is fine

AVA dry food from pets at home is 60% chicken and reasonable priced. My 2 liked it but I switched them to thrive dry food which is 90% meat. Depends on your budget

I currently pay £45 for a 12kg bag that lasts about 4 months. However Cheddar is a piglet so not sure how it will last now!

We give the Arden Grange or James wellbeloved grain free, they were both recommended as cheaper alternatives to the applaws. I believe Sainsbury's have an own brand grain free that is very highly rated as well.

Applaws dry food is on offer from Fetch at the moment - over 30% off. I can't say I've noticed it being particularly smelly!

Can’t says I’ve noticed it being particularly stinky. We use that and Lily’s kitchen dry food.
