Cat being attacked

We have a female Bengal, now about a year old, dainty little thing.
She's mainly an indoor cat and we won't be letting her roam free but do let her out in the very secure back yard to chase flies and sunbathe.
Twice now a local black cat has got in to the yard and attacked her - this morning she ran into the house and it tried to follow. I screamed and scared it away. Our cat wasn't hurt but she was petrified, has been jumpy all day and stayed very close to me.

Is there anything I can do to keep the nasty big cat away or help our little one? I can let her out under supervision, but she was loving a bit of freedom and I also like having the door open most of the time.

Can you cat proof your garden?

Do you mean fence it more?

I think we can make it harder for the black one to get in, but options limited as its conservation area/listed. Our cat can't seem to get out. Not seen where the other one is is coming from.

You can DIY or get a company to cat proof so no cats can get in or out. Worth a look?
